Sept. 17, 2004 - Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC), the global leader in information security, today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire LIRIC Associates, a UK-based consultancy that offers expertise in assessing the security needs of highly complex global networks and designing the architecture and policies to secure these networks. The transaction is expected to close in October.
